organization, organization techniques, management, research and development,
procurement and contracting, production, marketing, personnel and administration, employer-employee relations, financing, accounting, plant supervision. Special emphasis is given to chemical and
related industries and major problems
encountered in Turkish industry. ISO 9000, Just-in-time,
TQM techniques.

the operations in industry,
To get familiar with total
quality management,
To know the basic principles
of marketing, project management, financial management and human

To learn industrial safety principles and their related responsibilities,
To understand the importance of ethics in industry,
To get familiar with managerial
applications and new trends in industry,
To understand the process of decision making in business life,
To broaden the engineering students’ knowledge on business life.
