CHE 428 Introduction to Process Principles

Catalog Description:
A brief survey of chemical process principles with a clear orientation to biotechnology. Material and energy balances, basic pripciples of thermodynamics, kinetics and transfer operations. It aims to provide a knowledge and basic skills of process handling from engineering point of view to non-engineering students.

Course Objectives:
This course is designed to teach the basic process principles to non-engineering students enrolled in M.S. or Ph.D. programs in biotechnology.
